I have a decent amount of traffic coming through my website but no purchases and people like my pieces but aren’t willing to pay. What do I need to add or change about my website. https://rawkstarapp.com. Is it the theme, my presentation, colors??
Hi @Rkstr21 !
I completely understand that seeing traffic to your store without sales can be frustrating. I’m happy to provide some feedback on how you can improve your customer experience in hopes of generating more sales.
First off, it’s beneficial to have an “About” page so that your customers can get to know you and your business. Having a personal touch to your store will make visitors feel comfortable enough to order from you. We have a great blog post on how to write a compelling about page here.
I see that you have a variety of products to offer from tops, to hoodies, to bags. I recommend breaking down these collections within your main menu so that visitors can see that you have a few different options even if they don’t scroll your homepage.
At first glance, your brand is typically determined by a logo. I see that you don’t have one yet but you can use our free logo generator here to design on.
Also, to grow that personalized connection, it’s great to add a chat function to your website. Sometime’s customers won’t complete their checkout because of some unanswered questions. A chatbot function can solve this. We have apps you can consider here.
With that said, a Contact page is key to building trust on your site. Similar to a chat function, the Contact page gives your visitor a direct connection to you which is invaluable.
Lastly, I suggest creating more structure to your homepage scrolling experience. Our theme editor allows for sections to be added to the homepage such as slideshows, text blocks, videos, etc. I would recommend adding sections to your homepage to break up the products and feature them as opposed to having it be the only content. Here’s a super helpful blog post on designing a captivating homepage.
I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Cheers!
Hey there, @Rkstr21 !
There are a few quality of life changes you can make to your website that can help your customers navigate your site more smoothly. After scrolling, the navigation bar doesn’t stay stickied at the top of the page. So when customers are part ways down the page they have to scroll all the way to the top in order to navigate to other pages. Making it easier for them to get from page to page will incentivize customers to view more pages and products. With the navigation bar, you have a lot of unutilized space. Since there are four collections in your catalog, instead of having the catalog button that takes them to a page to pick which collection they want to browse, reduce the steps for your customer and put each collection on the navigation bar.
You are using the home page as a place to show all the merchandise you have rather than using it as a place to draw them into your site and brand. Use your home page as a place to express your brand, put some images of your art with some copy about who you are as a brand. A bit further down the page you can put some products but instead of listing every item after each other, try making each collection show only a few products so they see the different collections without having to scroll as much.
There is nothing more valuable than watching your customers actually browse the website. You can see what issues they run into, where they leave your site, and what pages they visit the most. Lucky Orange’s session recordings allows you to watch your customers live as they navigate your website, and comes with tons of other features to help you understand your customers so you can market your products and build your website accordingly.
I’d be happy to give you some deeper insights using session recordings if you were interested in setting up a free trial of Lucky Orange. Just tag me in a reply in this post after you’ve added Lucky Orange to your store. I’ll take a look at the visitor behavior insights Lucky Orange is showing specific to your store and give you a few actionable ideas you could use to boost your conversions.
I hope this helps! Good luck! And don’t forget to @ me in this post when you have Lucky Orange installed. If you need any help at all, don’t hesitate to ask.
Cheers - Danny
