So my company gives out a coupon for first time customers called Welcome15. IN my orders, there seem to be random code after the welcome15. Does anyone know what that is?
Hi @FredJordanCraig ,
Developers usually uses that to make a unique coupon code. Do you use an app for this discount?
Are you using 3rd party app for coupon codes?
No, we use Shopify for coupon codes.
No, we use Shopify for coupon codes. Thanks.
Hi @FredJordanCraig ,
Looks like some script or app is changing the coupon code. I cannot duplicate the issue in my end
Are you using your own site and seeing your coupon code in your orders?
Hey @FredJordanCraig , have you solved this issue for your store?
We’ve actually built an app that creates dynamic single-use coupon codes and switches your coupon codes to our Campaign Links and Scripts that inject the offer (Welcome 15% off) into your product pricing instead of applying a coupon code at checkout.
So this issue no longer happens and it increases conversion as the shopper doesn’t have to leave your site to find the code and apply it themselves at checkout.
