Can someone at Shopify please explain how a website can be open, taking orders and looks to be a scam?
Check out this site - bakeracres (dot) shop - then go to their contact page, about us page, terms of service page, etc. and just scroll and read the pages. How can a website created by Shopify allowed to be open like this?
They placed an ad on FB and I checked out their site - website shouldn’t even be functioning IMO - check out the links on the website. This then leads me to the thought process of these folks simply trying to scam people out of their money? If someone from Shopify could pass this website along to your compliance team that would be great!
Here’s just 1 example from this website - their terms of service page info.

Hi there. This is my shop. While I do appreciate your concern and looking out for other people, please know I’m a real person. A stay at home mother of 4 kids who doesn’t have a ton of time to concentrate on website design. You were blocked from my business site because you came on there spreading lots of false information in an attempt to sabotage my small business.
I have zero to prove to you. But as a fellow beekeeper I’d expect more ?
Thank you for confirming your website for us. I can definitely appreciate how hard it can be to run a small business while also being a mother to four kids! Take your time and build your website out when you can.
