What is the best Shopify app for bundles and volume discount?

I want to build something similar to this. My goal is to offer volume discounts, color swatches, and free gifts, all in one widget. What’s the best Shopify app (or approach) to achieve that?

Hi @ecomsniper

I’m Mason - founder of BiDeal Bundle Volume Discount - all in one bundle discount , volume discount & mix and match bundle.

With BiDeal, you can create every bulk discount without coding, easy to setup & free. You can also create free gift with purchase, free shipping bar & progressive cart discount

Let try it & give me a feedback. I’m looking forward your response.

Thanks

I just tried it but it’s not what I’m looking for, it lacks a lot features actually like the color swatch. I’m fine with the app Rapi now. Thanks for your help!

Thank you! It’s exactly what I was looking for :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you for your responding. Can you tell me detail which one is color swatch feature BiDeal are missing?

I know I’m late to answer here, :slightly_smiling_face:

but if someone else has similar requirement for bundles, frequently bought together, cart drawer, build a box etc, then this answer might help them,

You can try Wizio Bundle - Quantity Breaks, a powerful Shopify app that lets you offer volume discounts, color swatches, and free gifts, all in a single customizable widget. It’s a great solution to boost your conversions and AOV. If you need help or a walkthrough, feel free to reach out to support via the in-app chat or support email address. app and support both are wonderful.

I think you’ve found a solution here @ecomsniper , can you share/elaborate a bit here and mark it as a solution so others can also find value from your thread.

Thanks for your time and I’m glad that you’ve come across a solution that works :slightly_smiling_face:

Fast Bundle is a solid option if you’re trying to get bundles and volume discounts working together in a single widget.
It gets pretty close to the kind of layout you shared — multiple pack options, savings badges, a free gift, and variant selection all in one block.

Here’s how it maps to what you’re trying to build:

  • Multi-pack volume discounts (1 Pack, 2 Pack, etc.) with savings labels and old/new prices → supported inside the Volume Discount template.

  • Free gift displayed inside the same widget (like your scrub item) → supported via the Free Gift Deal option.

  • Color swatches for the main product’s variants → supported in the variant selector, so customers can pick the color/size visually.

  • Extra text like “Includes free shipping” or additional perks → can be added inside each offer’s subtitle area.

  • Large CTA button and a clean card layout → part of the standard Volume Discount UI.

The only limitation to be aware of is that the free gift itself doesn’t get its own swatch selector — it’s added as a specific variant in the background. But for the main product, swatches work perfectly.

If you’re trying to replicate this exact style, the combination of Volume Discount + Free Gift Deal inside Fast Bundle is probably the closest all-in-one setup I’ve seen.

Hi @ecomsniper,

Even though you may already have a solution, I’d like to share an alternative approach that could offer a more flexible setup.

This setup helps you to run volume discounts together with free gifts, while also applying advanced conditions to the gift offer (for example: only for customers coming from a specific link, customers with certain tags, or customers with eligible order history).

In this case, the gift offer and volume discount won’t be in a single widget, but in return you’ll gain much more flexibility and a wider range of gift-offer configurations.

You can test this approach using BOGOS: Free Gift Bundle Upsell.

Here are some added condition to get gift:

This is one of those cases where trying to get everything in a single widget usually means compromising on at least one feature. Most apps are strong in one area and okay in others.

For volume discounts + bundles + free gifts in one app, BOGOS covers all three without needing separate installs. You set up volume discount tiers (buy 2 get 10% off, buy 4 get 20% off), and you can stack a free gift trigger on top of that (spend $X and get a gift auto-added). Their widget is customizable enough that you can match your theme’s color scheme and layout.

For the color swatches specifically, that’s usually handled at the theme level or through an options app (like Easify or Infinite Options), not through the bundle/discount app. So you’d still need your theme or a lightweight options app to display variant swatches properly on the product page. The bundle/discount app then works on top of whatever variant the customer selects.

The real question is: do you want the volume discount displayed as a table on the product page, or as quantity selectors? That changes which app fits best. Some display it as a grid (“Buy 1 for $20 / Buy 3 for $17 each / Buy 5 for $15 each”), others show it as a quantity stepper with a dynamic price update. Both work, just different UX.

Best,
Moeed
