Hi everyone, I’m Kelvin, and I’m excited to be part of this space with fellow Shopify users who are passionate about growth. Marketing is one of the most important — and often most challenging — parts of running an online store. From content marketing and SEO to email campaigns and paid ads, there are so many approaches to consider. I’d love to open up a discussion: What marketing strategies or channels have been working well for your store recently? Or — if you’re experimenting — what are you currently trying out? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and learning together.
Hey there Kelvin and welcome to the best e-commerce community @kelvin111
The main marketing strategies advice I like to give people for starters are to run well placed paid ads on Tik Tok and Instagram and to produce top notch content on blog posts for the site which could help rank higher in search engines.
Hey Kelvin,
I use a method called Guerrilla Automarketing—it’s a powerful approach to marketing that doesn’t rely on paid ads at all. Instead, it focuses on smart, organic strategies that not only attract attention but also consistently turn that traffic into real sales.
It’s completely free to implement, and honestly, the results have been pretty impressive. If you’re curious about how it works or how you can apply it to what you’re doing, I’d be happy to share more.

Hey, thanks for sharing!
That’s great to hear social media ads have been working well for you. Would you mind sharing which platform has performed best for your store — such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or another platform?
Would love to learn more about what’s worked for you.
Thanks so much for the warm welcome and for sharing those tips!
Running paid ads on TikTok and Instagram seems to be working well for a lot of people right now — \especially with creative content. And I completely agree with the blog posts too. Content that is helpful and optimized can make a significant difference over time.
Do you usually manage your ads yourself or work with someone? And any tips on what kind of blog content performs best for your store?
Hey, thanks for sharing that! Guerrilla Automarketing sounds really interesting — I haven’t come across that term before.
Would love to hear a bit more about how you’ve applied it to your store. What kinds of organic strategies have worked well for you so far?
Hey, thanks for the kind words!
Guerrilla Automarketing is all about using unconventional, cost-free strategies to drive traffic and convert that traffic into real sales—without relying on paid ads.
If you’re curious to see how it all comes together, feel free to check out my portfolio—I’ve laid out some real examples there so you can get a clearer picture of how it works in practice. Let me know what you think!
have you try FSMO marketing before
do you know what means ?
Great question, Kelvin — and it’s awesome to see so many store owners thinking holistically about growth.
From what we’ve observed across multiple Shopify stores, one strategy that’s really moving the needle lately is customer segmentation-based marketing. Instead of casting a wide net, brands that dive into their customer data and build targeted strategies for specific buyer groups (e.g., loyal repeat customers vs. one-time bargain hunters) are seeing better ROI across all channels — ads, emails, even product bundles.
This level of precision used to be reserved for brands with in-house data scientists. But with tools like Lumino, stores of any size can now run advanced k-means clustering on their customer data, visualize the insights, and get AI-generated strategies tailored to each segment.
Think of Lumino as your personal business intelligence team — it helps you understand your customers, improve targeting, and stretch every marketing dollar further. Especially if you’re running Meta ads or email flows, the impact can be immediate.
