What type of Google campaign works best for artisan crafted, eco-friendly products?

If you want to have Google automate everything, use performance max, if you need control use standard shopping.
For my clients, I use both, or one or the other, it all depends, even 2 merchants in the same niche, I would sometimes use a different tactic for both.
I recommend first testing with performance max.
