When to expect the Admin REST APIs to be removed

We very actively use the Admin REST API to communicate with our ERP, internal apps and third party apps. The funtionality ranges from importing orders, updating state of orders, shipping statuses, informing users, updating products and what not.

We extensively rely on the Admin REST API and are looking for information on timeline of discontinuation. Depending on the timeline, we would plan how to move ahead with this. This is a huge cost and effort for us, thus we would also not want to migrate only to realize that for some reason the APIs were never discontinued.

Is there any news on when the endpoints will be discontinued. Also, once the information is there, how much time will shopify provide us to migrate. Any help and information from shopify or the community would be helpful.

Also, shopify mentions that this is for private and public apps, does this also mean custom apps?

It would be some insane ivory tower new shiny toy behavior if graphql has become such a knife in the back religion they are okay with breaking legacy systems by getting rid of an api using a foundational and simple protocol that built the internet and are.? :church: :dagger:
