So I’ve just switched to the one page checkout and where is the add discount code section?? Literally does not exist?? Can someone clarify please because I cannot find it. Have they gotten rid of it? What do I do if they have
Hi, @ceool . I’m happy to help you out with this!
The section for customers to add a discount code on the one page checkout is in the same place it was previously. You can find it in the area summarizing the order like in the screenshot below. That being said, the discount code entry field only displays during checkout if you have an active discount code available to your customers. If you don’t, that entry field will only say “gift cards”.

The coupon code field does not appear for me either.
My coupons are through Klaviyo. So what do you do in such a situation?
Thanks
Hi, @Ann21 . Thank you for sharing that context!
Since you’re using a third party app for your coupons it’s best to speak to your app developer directly for more help. They will have the most accurate information on how to create coupons that will work with your Shopify checkout. You can contact them through the contact information they’ve listed under the Support section of their app store listing here.

literally same
I found a solution that might help others. I created an active Shopify coupon code without an expiration date, but I don’t use it; it’s just for the coupon field to appear. Then, there is no problem using a third-party coupon.
Thank you
