Hello, i was wondering if there’s an app that can help me schedule a day for picking up in store and another one that will help me pick a specific pick up location.

That is a great question! I can see how having scheduled days & a pickup location selection would be beneficial to have.
There are definitely apps that can enable this kind of functionality. However, did you know that you can set up local pickup for your store, without the need to use an app? We have some more information about local pickup here. Basically how it works is you can enable local pickup at as many of your locations as you wish. Then you just need to make sure there is inventory allocated to those locations. During checkout your customers will have the option to select the most convenient location for free pickup (provided all of the items on their order are in stock there).
If you want customers to be able to select a specific scheduled day for pickup then you would indeed need some sort of custom solution or a third party app installed on your store. I had a look on the Shopify app store and found a few that look good! As with all third party apps, it’s important to pay attention to any charges before installing them, and bear in mind you can also direct any app related questions to the developers by clicking into the ‘Get Support’ tab on the app page. I’d recommend checking out the following:
- In Store Pickup Local Delivery by LogBase
- Store Pickup Click and Collect by CreativeR
- Local Pickup & Delivery Date by Mageworx
Separate to this, have you started to plan any activities for BFCM this year? Now is the time to make some preparations. BFCM is one of the biggest sales weekends of the year and sees the start of the holiday season. There’s a great checklist I would recommend checking out here.
