I’m just looking for an app that will allow people to download files (not products!) larger than the 20mb Shopify limit. We don’t want to use a Dropbox or Google Drive link; we want the website visitor to be able to click a download URL and get the file.
Anybody know any apps that provide this?

These apps do not, unfortunately. They allow you to link a digital file to a product, and then the customer gets a link to the file if they purchase that product.
I am specifically just looking for a way to have a link in a blog post where people can download a file larger than Shopify’s own 20mb limit.
The best solution I’ve found is changing a Google Drive link to a direct download link but that’s a bit of a clumsy workaround

Just trying to understand, what doesn’t work with a Dropbox link?
Basically an app that does this would be the same as Dropbox - i.e. cloud storage with a link to download a file that’s in that storage
