As an e-commerce store owner, which social media platform do you most often spend time on to get advice and content about growing and marketing your brand, and to find new people/advisors to learn from?

My personal faves would be TikTok and YouTube. I think these are the best platforms to use to find informative videos, and they usually keep up to date with major changes to platforms.
TikTok is great for finding trending products and short form videos talking about how to market them. I’m sure you’ve seen creators make videos about the “10 Amazon products I loved this week”, and they’ll quickly show the product and how to use it. Whenever I see those videos I check the comments to see what product people loved the most and are talking about the most.
YouTube will always be one of the top platforms for learning new things in detail, and it’s mostly because you can post an hour long video tutorial, and people will watch it. I love the fast pace of TikTok, but there are a lot of topics I prefer to watch a long well thought out video with clear steps in it.
I’ll throw Reddit in there for a bonus platform. It really depends on the Subreddits you’re in and how active they are, but I’ve found great information on there. It’s a great platform to use for community help.
