White area on mobile view bottom

Hey there,

so Im currently building my Website based on the dawn theme.

Now what I noticed is a white area at the very bottom of the page, under the footer, on the mobile view.
Can anyone help how I get rid of this area? I already tried everything, switching background color etc. but nothing works.
It seems like its exactly the size of the chrome UI Buttons and when the UI of chrome disappears(on scroll) the white area gets visible.

Hi there :waving_hand:,

I came across your question and decided to jump in — you’re doing great working with the Dawn theme so far.

The white space under the footer on mobile is usually related to mobile viewport height handling, especially on Chrome where the browser UI (address bar & buttons) collapses on scroll. This can affect themes that use 100vh in certain layout sections.

Feel free to reply back if you’d like me to take a quick look at your store preview link — happy to guide you further. Your growth and smooth store experience matters. :rocket:

Hey there, thanks for your quick answer! With that Info I was able to resolve it - just set the margin on important for the footer section and limited the overscroll-behavior
Thanks for your imput!

Awesome — glad to hear you got it resolved! :tada:
Good call using !important and adjusting overscroll-behavior — that’s a clean fix for the Dawn mobile viewport quirk.

If anything else comes up as you continue building, feel free to reach out. Happy to help anytime!
