Could you please share some more details about the tax you are trying to remove. Is this taxes that are being charged to customers that buy products on your store, or taxes being applied to your monthly subscription fees?
If it is customer related taxes, you can manage the taxes for your business and when/what you charge taxes on. You can learn more about that here: Taxes ยท Shopify Help Center.
If you are being charged taxes on your monthly or annual billing fees, that will happen if your business is located where Shopify has a physical presence or nexus. Regardless of whether you are dropshipping remotely we may need to charge additional taxes depending on where your business is located/registered.
