Why am I getting an 'Invalid origin postal code' error when buying shipping labels?

Need assistance purchasing shipping label. Receiving error “USPS: Invalid origin postal code”. Please help.

When you encounter this issue when attempting to purchase a shipping label, it’s typically an indication that you haven’t added your shipping origin address to the Locations page of your Shopify admin. Please follow the steps on this page to add your shipping origin address.

If you already have the shipping origin address entered, the error could be a sign that the zip code of your origin address doesn’t match the zip code that USPS has on file. You can try entering the origin address in the USPS address validation tool to find out how the zip code is written in USPS’ records, then add the zip code to the address found on the Locations page of your Shopify admin.
