Why am I getting many visitors but few sales on my online store?

I started my store about a month ago and I am currently at 17 sales, however I have 1.8K sessions. That means my conversion rate is 1.04% which is below average. I have been trying to add stuff to my store to make it seem more trustworthy. I also tried changing prices and shipping, but to no avail. Does anyone here have any tips to help me out?
