Why am I having trouble creating US shipping labels with Canada Post on Shopify?

Hello,

I’m fairly new to Shopify and have had a lot of trouble with creating shipping labels to ship to the US. Never any issues within Canada.

I’m an online gallery and ship square tubes in a few sizes, my default size is 30" x 5" x 5". Every time I

try to print a shipping label for a US shipment with Canada post I get this error message, yet I can go onto Canada Post’s website and buy a shipping label for that size with no problem. I’ve had to do this every time, which is quite costly because I offer free shipping.

I’ve been on Shopify support several times and the issue doesn’t seem to get resolved. Does anyone else have this issue? Any advice or help would be appreciated.

I am also having this issue … Just shipping smaller items to US … same error message for a box size 5 x 5 x 3.5 inches. I can buy a label thru Canada Post so the size is not actually restricted. Help Please - A lot of extra work to go to Canada Post site to buy shipping labels

Yes, we have the same issue. It’s a real pain in the ass.
