Why am I not earning $80 after inviting an entrepreneur to Shopify?

I invited a entrepreneur and he became shopify member.But I can’t earn $80.Can you explain this.Thank you.

Is this our merchant referral program you are talking about? If so, please check the eligibility requirements below as that may be the reason as to why you’ve not been paid yet.

Eligibility

  • Merchants from participating countries are eligible.
  • The referring merchant (Advocate) must be on the Trial, Basic, Shopify, or Advanced plan at the time of making the referral.
  • Excluded plans include Frozen, Pause and Build, Starter trial, Starter, Plus, and Enterprise.
  • The referred merchant (Friend) must select the Basic, Shopify, or Advanced plan.
  • Payouts are made after both parties have paid at least one full-priced bill on the Basic, Shopify, or Advanced plan.
  • Merchants can receive payouts for up to 10 referrals.
  • Merchants cannot refer themselves.

I participated in their $100 referral program in the spring and I have yet to receive the credit. Don’t hold your breath.
