I just finished building my store and set up my email. But when I subscribe to my email list to test it I don’t receive the email and I checked in Spam. When I hit the Test button to test it out, it goes to my email. Can anyone help me, please?

Firstly, a congratulations are in order for the completion of your online store! Secondly, let’s dive into this issue so you can begin to send marketing campaigns to your new subscribers and grow sales along with your business.
If you find that recipients are not receiving emails, then it is more than likely you first have to verify your sender email address. This is done through connecting your custom domain to SPF and DKIM records - both of which are authentication methods. Luckily, we have a very informative manual that explains this process and why it is important at this link.
Steps:1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Notifications.
- In the Sender email section, click authenticate your domain.
- Follow the instructions to enter the new CNAME records into your third-party domain manager.
Changes can take up to 24 hours to complete.

I already did that step. I find it odd that when I send a test email by clicking the TEST button, it send it to my email, but when I subscribe to my emails, the email doesn’t make it.
What else can I do? Does Shopify have people that can look? I can’t find a support phone number to save my life, not even a chat. Thanks.

As per the instructions even after implementing the changes you can expect to wait up to 24 hours for them to go into effect. Was it simply a matter of time after doing so, or was it something else you changed?
