Why am I receiving 'failed to pay invoice' for my store subscription?

Can anyone help me with why I keep receiving “failed to pay invoice” whenever I try to pay for my store subscription this month?

It sounds like you are running into issues when attempting to pay your subscription fee. Is this your first time using this payment method to pay for your Shopify subscription? Or, has it suddenly stopped working? Either way, you will want to ensure that the following transaction types are enabled on your card: online, recurring, and cross border. The card issuer can disable these types of transactions at any time if they are concerned about activity on the card, which is why you may be experience issues with a card that you have successfully paid for things with in the past.

The best option here would be to review the payment requirements for your Shopify billing, and reach out to your bank to make sure that the correct transaction types listed above are enabled for your card.

Please,how can I change the billing currency of my store.

My bank is not allowing transactions in other currencies.

Great question. Local currency billing is available for merchants who are located in the United Kingdom (GBP), India (INR), Canada (CAD), Singapore (SGD), and European Union countries where the Euro is the official currency (EUR). For all other countries and regions, Shopify bills are issued in USD.

If you are eligible, then you can change your currency by following these steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Billing.

  2. In the Payment methods section, under Billing currency, click the button, and then click Change billing currency.

  3. In the Change billing currency dialog, select your new billing currency from the drop-down menu.

  4. Click Save.
