I deactivated my Shopify store a month ago, I even checked the domain and it was no longer available to me, and Shopify still charged me $39 for the monthly charge, and I look and my domain is now active for me!? This is the second time Shopify has done this to me.

I am sorry to hear about this unexpected charge. Could you confirm if the charge you are seeing is for your monthly Shopify subscription, or for a yearly domain renewal? Generally when a store is completely closed you should not be seeing any further subscription charges. If you believe the account is not fully closed then it is definitley possible that further monthly subscription charges will occur.

I was in a similar situation. It was long time ago and I don’t remember the details but I definitely know that I forgot to cancel something.
