Why am I still being charged $40 after my trial period?

Hello I see I was charged 40$ for the last few months!
I bought the temporary period of trail… for 29$ for 3 months. But I see that you continue charging me with 40$ After the 3 months over.

I havent used the store at all!!!

I understand that you started a Shopify store some time back, and have noticed you are still being charged for the store, despite believing you were only agreeing to a temporary period. I’d be happy to provide some context on this.

Although there might be promotional pricing for your first month or more, once the promotional pricing period has ended, you will move to the full price of whichever plan your store is on. This automatic subscription charge will continue as normal - you would need to close the store in order to stop future subscription charges.

We have information here which explains how you can close your store, and it also includes some considerations to be aware of such as making backups of any data you might need to keep.

Once you have closed the store, I would suggest reaching out to our support team directly via our help center here. Although we cannot guarantee any refunds as per our terms of service, we will certainly take a closer look at your account and see what we can do to accommodate you.

If you decide to come back to Shopify within the next 2 years, your data will be safe, and you can simply log back into the closed store and choose a new plan to continue where you left off.
