I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing issue I have been experiencing with regards to my subscription and accounts with your esteemed company. I made the decision to cancel my subscription and, as a security measure, I diligently logged out of all associated accounts. However, to my great dismay, I have recently discovered that I am still being charged monthly fees for the services despite no longer having an active subscription or access to any account.
I understand that oversights and technical glitches can occur within any organization, and I am confident that this matter can be resolved promptly with your assistance. I kindly request that you investigate this issue and take the necessary steps to rectify it immediately. Furthermore, I would like to request a refund for the unauthorized charges that have been incurred since my subscription was officially terminated.I would be very grateful if I could get a refund
Thank you for those details and I understand it’s important to get this billing issue resolved. If the store you were working on is fully deactivated then all billing fees will be halted. Even if the store is closed, you can sign into the account and view the most recent billing statements to confirm this.
If you have confirmed that the store is deactivated (you cannot sign into the store admin without activating it on a new plan) then this means that your billing details are connected to another store on the platform. Rest assured, our support can assist you in removing your billing details.
You will need to contact our authenticated support to investigate this further. You can follow this link: Shopify Help Center to do so. Next, you will want to follow the on screen prompts to sign in, choose your topic and issue and at the bottom of the help articles provided will be all available support options.
Please have a screenshot available of the charges on your banking statement, including the charge descriptor that should look like SHOPIFY * XXXXXXXXX. This is the charge identifier and is required to track down where the charge initiated from.
