Why are my image banners still blurry after editing?

My image banner is kinda blurry and I have no idea how to fix it.. I’ve changed the resolution numerous times with either the same result or worse results.

I’ve also tried sharpening the image on Photoshop. Admittedly, I’m still learning Photoshop but I’m not sure what else I can do.

I’ve cleared my cache and checked on different PCs and mobile, but it’s blurry on every device I’ve checked.

The image is currently 1200x600 px and 72 ppi.

I had been using PNG images. I tried a few different formats and found that SVG was not blurring it and now the image looks MUCH better.
