Why are my online store payments on hold?

My shopify payments on hold and i don’t know for what reason, i was so excited to finally advertise my shop then i realise i can’t accept shopify payments. can somebody help?

There are many reasons for the Shopify Payments placed on hold, oftentimes it’s for verification purposes. Just wait for the Shopify email, they’ll provide you with the next steps.

Hey Nick, but i didn’t recive any email from shopify about it what can i do?

If the link keeps redirecting to the home page, try opening the link in Chrome Incognito mode.

I had this problem before too and it was really bad!

Your payments could be put on hold for a number of reasons, such as your account being reviewed (which happens to all Shopify Payments accounts periodically), or there being missing information on your account.
