I launched my store 2 weeks ago: www.minimarck.com and have an add to cart rate of 2.3% but a conversion rate of 0.04%! I’m not sure what am I doing wrong here. Please help!
Hi @Ahmedgowda
First, you should investigate why your customers abandon their carts.
The most common reasons include:
- Being forced to create an account
- Struggling with complex checkout processes
- Unexpected delivery costs
- Concerns over security
You can get more details here.
Second, you can send emails to recover those carts, offering a discount to encourage customers to complete their carts.
You can consider using an email app like AVADA Email Marketing which can help you send emails to engage and convert customers.

Hi @Ahmedgowda ,
Your store and products are fantastic, frankly. I do have a few suggestions that I know would really help.
1. Create an About Us Page
You’ll absolutely need an About Us page. You need one to explain what your brand is, what it stands for, and why anyone should buy from you.
2. Add Reviews
One thing I noticed on your store is that you don’t currently have product reviews. You can add reviews to your product, quickly and easily using the Shopify Reviews app. This app adds a review box to your product page and helps build trust with your customers. It also gives an SEO boost and can display in Google with your product page.
There’s also a paid app YotPo that gathers image and video reviews and automatically emails your customers to encourage them to leave a review. YotPo runs a really great blog.
3. Add Dynamic Checkout
I can see you don’t currently have Dynamic checkout added to your store. This brings your customers straight from the product page to checkout in seconds. On mobile, it lets your customers check out quickly with Apple or Google Pay. It’s a quick way to increase sales on your store.
To set up Dynamic Checkout go to the theme editor (Online Store and click the “Customize” button next to your theme) Then select “Product Pages” in the top left-hand drop-down and click “Product”
In Product make sure the “Show Dynamic Checkout Button” is enabled.
These are just a few suggestions, but I’d love to know more about your marketing plan and content strategy!
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
