I have an alert that says “X products didn’t publish to Facebook”. Written beneath this is “View each product to learn how to resolve any errors.”. However, when I view the products individually, I cant seem to find any further information as to why it hasn’t been published to Facebook.
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some guidance with getting products published to Facebook. To provide some context, there are a few reasons products may have not been published, including requiring a description or not being available to your Online Store.
To check this, you can head into:
Products, from the Shopify admin.
Locate the product that populated the error.
Under Product Availability > Facebook, the error will be outlined.
Make required adjustments and click Save.
For more information on these errors, you can check out our Syncing Products to Facebook helpdoc for a full list. If after checking these products no errors are populating, please Contact Support to allow us to investigate this further.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thank you for reaching out regarding syncing products to Facebook. To ensure I’m fully understanding, could you please provide the error you’re seeing for a few products?
This would allow me to better assist to ensure we get the issue resolved as quickly as possible. I look forward to your response.
I meant to say that there is no such option as Product Availability on a product page, maybe you’re referring to Product Status…
Either way, the only suggestion I’ve got from Shopify Support that solved the issue was to deselect Facebook from the Product Status, save the product like that, wait for a minute, select Facebook again and save the product one more time.
This is not a very practical solution, as it means repeating this action dozens or hundreds of times depending on the number of products you need to fix. I did it anyway, just out of desperation, and then did it again, because in some cases I didn’t wait enough time between deactivating and reactivating.
