Why aren't new orders appearing in my store's order history?

For the last few hours, my store is not able to show up new orders, although the payment is being captured on the payment gateway, and I can see an order id associated with the payment in the 3rd party payment gateway.
I also tried placing an order myself, and even though I didn’t receive an order confirmation email from Shopify, the payment was deducted from my bank.

Now I can see a banner on top of my orders tab which says: There’s a delay showing your store’s most recent orders. Your checkout is processing payments normally, and your new orders will be displayed soon.

Will this issue be resolved by itself, and if yes, how much time does it usually take, or I’ll have to fix something from my end.
Because I think there’s some issue with Shopify as it cannot refresh/update the order history nor send these orders in the abandoned cart.

Our store is also having this problem! Customers also aren’t getting order confirmation emails. Some orders are showing up hours later, some aren’t.

I was onto shopify support who said this is being experienced by alot of others, I asked the same two questions ie. timeframe and will the orders just come in but no response as of yet.

Let’s wait for some time and hope it gets resolved soon. Because this creates anxiety amongst customers, and it is really difficult to reply to each customer manually about the issue.

Our developers are aware of the issue where there’s been completed transactions, but no order created on a merchant’s store. This has impacted a few of our merchants, but our developers have since pushed a fix from our end.

While we don’t have an exact timeframe for when all of the orders will appear, our developers have mentioned that it may take several hours for merchants to start to see their orders appear within their admin. Rest assured however, that all orders will eventually be created.

I have the same issue now for 4 orders

I got notifications through the mobile app that there are 4 new orders but when i opened the app i cannot find them

so what do we do with that? make manual orders or wait for it to show? what if it doesn’t show? I need to send the receipt to the clients? is there anyone who can guide me through this?
