Hello good day, I activated paypal express checkout on my store but when an order was made I did not see the funds transferred to the paypal account. I contacted paypal and everything seemed to be integrated well and no issues were found through paypal. So I am hoping to get some clarification as to why the funds arent being transferred to the paypal account?

To gather a bit of context, could you ensure there are no error messages present within your Settings > Payments section under Paypal Express Checkout?
For the orders affected, could you navigate to your Shopify admin > Orders, and select the order to view if the payment is pending or if there are any banners indicating a delay?
To check the payment status, scroll down on the affected order to the section Timeline. Under Information about the gateway, click the small arrow and view the Payment Status.

If the Payment Status indicates Pending, this may be due to security measures on Paypal’s end. Paypal has its own security measures in place to protect buyers and sellers. One of these measures is not releasing funds to accounts that do not have a verified email address.
Could you first ensure that the email address entered under Settings > Payments > Paypal > Manage is correct? If it’s incorrect, I recommend updating the email address to the one you’d like to use. Following that, please reach out to Paypal support regarding your payout. More information in Paypal’s Help Center resource.
If the email address is correct, could you confirm if you’ve verified the email address associated with your Paypal account? You can follow the steps on Paypal’s Support page and wait for 48hrs for the payment to be deposited.
