Why can't I connect my domain? Need immediate help

I am about to go crazy here! Your “support” is just one big circle! You CANNOT get any “support” at all! I do not want to read through forums and try to figure it out. I PAY YOU! YOU WORK FOR ME! If you want ME to support MYSELF then this service should be free or less as you are NOT pay customer service agents with OUR money!!!

I cannot get my domain to connect. I have read all your little article and BS you keep force feeding like it is support. It is not. I need my domain fixed immediately.

i will help you for no cost, just ping me

I do not know what “ping” means. I have had my store setup for over a year. I had not logged in for a while and everything was “off” for not logging in for (3) months. Domain and everything is paid in full and current. That is all I know. I want my domain to connect as it did before they froze my account.

it should show same like this, not frozen, can you please share your store url

www.TheSkullGardens.com

https://skull-dungeon.myshopify.com/

If that is what you wanted

did you try login, can you please share your screenshot, what it says?

I can login to my account just fine. I already did the hoop jump to get back in after the (3) month hiatus

So THIS is how we get customer service. ZERO emails, ZERO phone numbers, ZERO customer service. You take our money without missing a beat every month to pay YOUR mortgages, pay your car etc, but you leave the people who MAKE you that money out cold when they have an issue with your site. This is NOT customer service, it is a DIS-SERVICE. I will find who appreciates their users who PAY by providing customer service and I will get everyone I can to leave this site. You took advantage of us needing to find work during this plandemic and now you leave us out as well. S?HAME ON SHOPIFY, you have fallen from “glory”

Hi @MiSTRFiNGA

I understand that you are having some domain issues on your store and that you haven’t been getting the support you need to resolve this. From your earlier messages it looks like you weren’t able to get connected with our live support while you were troubleshooting yesterday. I’ll make sure to include the steps for contacting our live support so that you have that information on hand if needed.

For the domain issue you are experiencing, it appears in your screenshot you shared that your custom domain renewal has not gone through yet. In the screenshot I can see that the domain renewal was supposed to go through on August 13th, 2021. When you click the manage link next to the domain www.theskullgardens.com, you may see an option in there to renew the domain. If there is no option, you will want to connect with our live support to do that on your behalf. Please also ensure that the billing information on file has funds available to renew the domain charge. It is normally $14 USD, but each domain is different.

Once the domain is renewed it can take up to 48 hours to become fully active again.

To contact our live support please follow this link: Shopify Help Center - Contact Support and sign into your store account. Next you will want to search for your issue and use the contact support button at the bottom of the search results to see all our live support options.

If you have any issues connecting with our live support you can reach out to us on Facebook or Twitter (https://twitter.com/ShopifySupport) where we can chat in semi-real time. We cannot authenticate accounts through our social channels, but that way we can help guide you through the steps much more quickly then we can through the forums.

Let me know if there is anything else I can assist with through our community forums.

Shay,

First, thank you for your professional response. This is the type of response that is required in this day and age. So Thank-You. Second, everything has been up to date, it just charged for the past month shopify and the website was already paid. It still says “setup in progress” and “SSL unavailable” as in my previous screen shot. I followed your ways to get to a live operator and that option does not appear still. Yes I am re-logged in on that page, so I am still at the “unavailable live support” place. Your forum reply is appreciated, but please tell your boss and all surveys corp America wants to throw at customers before services are finished that they need to put live chat, email and/or phone numbers on the bottom of the contact page like everyone has done online since the WWW revolution in '99. Thanks for your time. and have a successful day.

Thank you for letting me know that you are still having issues contacting our live support. I am going to break down the steps and if you can please let me know what step you are able to get to and if you can provide any screenshots as well of what you are seeing, that will help me troubleshoot this with you.

  • Access the Help Center here: https://help.shopify.com/
  • At the top of the page click on Support > Contact Support
  • Log In or choose to continue without an account (you can use this option if you are still having issues while logged in)
  • You should then be taken to the search in the Help Center and provided a search bar to enter in your issue. Search for “domain renewal”.
  • You will then be provided a list of resources, common questions, related articles, etc. Don’t open any of the links and scroll to the bottom of the page where you should see an option to “Get Support”.

If any issues persist, please ensure to clear your device cache and cookies, attempt in another browser or device, and also try in a private/incognito window. Again, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our social media channels for faster troubleshooting on this if you haven’t already.

Thank you!
