I’m trying to edit my products for my store but it keeps telling the products can’t be edited does anyone know why this would happen??
move logged out and back in and it still won’t let me edit anything.

To gather more context on the issue, could you provide more information on the following:
- Share a screenshot or video recording when you try to edit your products.
- Are you editing your products on the Shopify Mobile App or a desktop device?
- Share what area of the Shopify admin > Products page you’re attempting to edit (product description, product title, variants, options, metafields, media, product status etc)

Hey this is also happening to me. Have never had the issue before and have had shopify for 4 years. The only thing I changed today was my shipping from flat rate to weight based. I added a bulk editing app but have deleted it and hadn’t used it to make any changes. I can’t recall doing anything else. So now I can’t edit any of my products, description, inventory etc..have attached the error it comes up with as well as just saying “error product cannot be edited”.

You mentioned that you recently added a bulk editing app, didn’t apply any changes and uninstalled it from your store. To gather more context, could you provide more information on the following:
- Were you able to add and edit products with no error messages prior to installing the bulk editing app?
- Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies and retrying the steps of editing your product(s)?
- Could you try launching your admin in an incognito window to see if the issue persists?
