Hi everyone,

Yes! Experiencing the same issue with the latest Firefox update.
Same issue here. Have tried reporting to live chat but they denied there’s a problem as it works fine in Chrome (not tried that myself yet).
Hi @Haan @RDHAdmin @Nick_Marketing
I was also not able to replicate this myself, but I definitely want to troubleshoot and report this to our technical team for a review.
@RDHAdmin Would you be able to share your ticket number with me for that conversation?
On my windows PC I have Firefox 103.0 (64-Bit) installed and my PC is on Windows 11 Home vs 22000.795 and I am currently able to use the theme editor as expected. I actually installed Firefox fresh to this PC to test, so reinstalling Firefox would be a good next step as well.
Would you all please share your firefox and OS versions for me, so we can see if we can narrow down the possible cause? Thank you so much!
Just to be clear, you are saying that in Firefox, this works:
Select “Home page”
Try and click “Theme settings” at the bottom of the left column
The theme editor “works” but it seems in Firefox nothing is clickable. Please try this quick test in Firefox and confirm if it works or not.
I have just updated Firefox: version 103.0 (64 bit)
I just double checked, and the theme settings tab at the bottom is no longer clickable for me.
I did report this to our developers and they were also able to replicate the issue and are investigating for a fix! In the interim we do suggest using Chrome if you need to make changes right away. Feel free to reach out to our live chat for additional updates on this.
Great! Thank you for the fast reply. Do you still need FF version and OS?
Thanks for taking the time to check that and confirming you see the same issue in Firefox.
Also it’s anything else that’s clickable in that column as well. So I can select things by clicking in the preview panel on the right, but nothing in the left column.
The issue present on:
Firefox Developer Ed: 104.0b1 (64-bit)
Firefox Nightly 105.0a1 (2022-07-26) (64-bit)
In short, I refreshed Firefox and I am almost back to normal.
In Shopify, I edited code yesterday or day before (very easy stuff). I have a deadly deadline to meet. There was a car crash (fairly bad) at the stop sign out side just now. Today I could not click to edit code, as if editing code is not hard enough for me. I read that an old Firefox would not work. Only the last 2 versions would work. So I updated firmly believing this would solve the problem. Interesting this problem occurred before I updated. After I updated I still could not edit code. I don’t think the theme settings button worked either. I read to try reinstall from shay. I saw refresh Firefox, so I reluctantly tried that. And most everything is back to normal ( I hope). Except the customize button that comes from the shopping bag after I hit view store says navigate to Administration. I like two ways to customize. Also I never had any trouble with the way I use to customize before the bag. Since I am a novice I cannot firmly say I like it before the bag.
If you refreshing Firefox you have to re-add your extensions. But passwords will remain. And bookmarks will remain after hitting the history button to restore them. This was not clear, but worked and took 20 seconds. I had to hit some button that didn’t exist but worked.
Hello,
It looks to me like they have fixed the problem now. I have not done anything to my Firefox setup, and am still on version 103.0, but this morning I can click things like “Theme settings” as before.
Thank you to everyone who shared their setups! I was able to flag this with our developers and they pushed out a fix yesterday afternoon. This should be working as expected now. If you are still having issues please contact live support to report this for further investigation!
