Hoping somebody can help! Trying to link my PayPal and it is not working! When I choose “activate PayPal Express Checkout” it takes me to login to Paypal, and after answering some questions for “tell us about your business” this happens. I cannot get past this! Please help!!!
Could it be because the PayPal is in my name but the business is in my husbands name? I’ve tried a different browser and removed cookies etc.

I searched online for you and all signs point to an issue on the PayPal end, relating to the account. It may be a case that the account may need to be upgraded/downgrade as well as other scenarios. It is important to note that you will need a PayPal business account for your Shopify store.
While the name may be an issue, I would always ensure that the email addresses match, but you can add an email to your PayPal account also by following their guide here.

Thanks for your quick response! Yes that is correct, after trying to enter the information. I do have a business account so it’s not that. The only other thing I can think of is that when I signed up to my Shopify I had another email, but I have since chained that and had pre-setup a PayPal Account rather than let it do it for me. I have since updated my email on Shopify and added the alternate email to the PayPal Account. This however hasn’t fixed it. I will contact Paypal and see what they think.
It should not be an issue on Shopify’s end (regarding the email you signed up with), but let me know how you get on with PayPal, and I will assist you further if needed!
Another thing I’d recommend if still no joy or they cannot see an issue, is to try this activity in your admin using incognito mode to see if this works? If it does, then can you try clearing your cache?
That can fix any localized issues once you rule out the account features, etc.

Clearing the cache is a great trick to clear all the junk that can get stored on our browsers from the day to day on the internet, never too early to do some spring cleaning!
