Why can't I log into my account and how can I regain access?

When I log in, it says: unable to log in.

I understand you’re having difficulties logging into your store and seeing an error message that you’ll need to contact the store administrator for access. I know this is not ideal and rest assured I’ll share the best next steps to help resolve the issue.

First, could you ensure you’re using the email and .myshopify.com URL linked to the store in question when logging in. To ensure you’re using the correct email you can use our Store Recovery Tool to see which email is linked to the account. This tool will send you a list via email of your store URL(s).

Once you’ve used our store recovery tool and confirmed you’re using the correct login credentials and still receiving an error, I recommend contacting our support.

You can head over to our Help Center to create a support request and contact our team via chat, email or by scheduling a callback. I suggest this option as our team will be able to authenticate you and provide you with account specific information.
