A user encountered an ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT error when trying to access their newly opened Shopify store from their PC, though the site loaded successfully on their phone.
Diagnosis:
Other users confirmed the store was accessible on their end, displaying a password-protected page as expected
This indicated a local connectivity issue rather than a site-wide problem
Troubleshooting steps recommended:
Clear browser cache and cookies
Try incognito/private browsing mode
Test with different browsers (Chrome, Safari, etc.)
Disable firewalls or pop-up blockers
Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data for testing
Resolution: The original poster confirmed the issue was resolved and the site is now working correctly.
Note: A separate user later posted about domain-related access problems, but this appears to be an unrelated issue that hasn’t been addressed yet.
