Why can't I see my store HotMusicTyme on Google search?

Hi all,

I have not been able to view my store once I put in the address into google search.( hotmusictyme) is the store name, Can someone look into this for me - Thanks

Are you having issues finding it when you just search the word ‘hotmusictyme’, or does it also not appear when you enter your URL? If so, please do share the URL with me so I can have a look and see if it comes up for me.

As for a normal Google search, the reason that you might be struggling to find your store that way is because you are not ranked high enough in terms of SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

There are a number of ways to start growing your SEO, and to start I recommend looking into some organic growth in the form of adding keywords and key phrases in spaces such as blog posts. In fact, blog posts can be one of the best ways to do this as you can discuss an array of topics related to your product, including questions that might be popular, fun facts etc. Based on the name of your store, it sounds like you’re selling something related to music/musical instruments, so an idea could be to write a post related to that.

For info on how to add blogs to your store, see our help doc on the topic here. Additionally, using a tool such as answerthepublic.com, you could come up with inspiration and topics to write about around your product.

In the case that this is the right page, it looks like your issue might be local. There are a few troubleshooting steps you could try here to see if it resolves this for you:

  • Clear your Google Chrome browser cache and cookies following these steps here, then try to search your store again.
  • Reset your internet to see if this issue was caused by a network error.
  • Try to access it on an alternative device i.e. if you’re using a desktop, try search for it on a mobile device.

If none of the above works, could you please send me a screenshot to show what you are seeing when you search for the store?
