Why can't I set up shipping to Maharashtra on my online store?

Hi,

I am trying to setup a store on shopify. The store is located in Maharashtra, India. When I try to checkout a product, I get following error:

We don’t offer shipping to Maharashtra

I checked other similar questions and have made changes in my settings accordingly but still I am facing this issue.

Can someone please help me.

Thanks for sending over the relevant screenshots from your admin. The reason you’re encountering an error message at the shipping page at checkout is because your shipping profile or shipping zone has a shipping rate that’s not applicable in your country.

As per the screenshot you shared, your shipping zone has a DHL Express calculated rate which is added via Shopify Shipping. Shopify Shipping is a feature that lets you connect your Shopify account with Shopify’s shipping carrier account, and can offer the ability to display or purchase discounted shipping rates and labels within your store and admin. This feature is only available for orders shipped from fulfillment locations based in the United States, Canada, and Australia.

To resolve the error, your shipping rates need to be adjusted. You can change it to flat shipping rates and come up with your own rates, or you can use a third-party app from the Shopify App Store to add calculated rates. Shiprocket ‑ Shipping in India is an app that you can check out and use for calculated rates. If you have questions about it, please feel free to contact the app’s support team through the details under the Support section of the listing.

Should you decide to use an app for calculated rates, please note that you will need the carrier-calculated shipping feature added to your subscription plan beforehand. Carrier-calculated shipping can be added to the monthly Basic Shopify and monthly Shopify plans for an extra $20 USD/month; however, it can be added to the monthly Advanced Shopify and annual plans for free.
