So facebook just rejected all my ads that have been running for a while. So thats the end of that. No more traffic. Might as well shut it all down.
Hey @mattharkins , I’m sorry to hear about your Facebook ads, and I totally get how this situation can make you want to close everything down because of the amount of time and money spent. In the email you received from Facebook, was there any reason given for rejecting the ads?
If you received a reason from Facebook for rejecting your ads, you can rework your ads and start running more. You can use the information collected from your previous ads to help with your new campaigns success, and skip a lot of the trial and error part.
We can also talk about a few different ways you can advertise your products. I have some questions that will help me understand the best ways for you to proceed with your business. How long were you running your Facebook ads? Did you receive any sales from your ads? Are you doing any other types of marketing? What product (or niche at least) are you selling? Are you dropshipping or do you hold inventory for your products? Can you change your product freely, or do you have money invested in your product that makes it hard to change it?
If you are open to other forms of marketing, you could try using different social media platforms to show your products off, and bring in new traffic. TikTok is an amazing way to bring new customers to your store without spending any money. Of course you can run paid ads on TikTok, but you can also create a TikTok account and post videos that show how your products are used and the issue it solves. TikTok can be a little intimidating to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll see it’s pretty easy to use. I would love to share more information with you on how to advertise your products for free on TikTok, and if you let me know what your products are, I can tailor my advise to help you with your account.
Another option that I personally love using to find new customers is influencer marketing. The great thing about this option is you can set your own budget. Many people think you need to spend 1000’s to get an influencer to work with you, and while that is true for top influencers, you don’t have to spend nearly as much when working with micro influencers. Stats show that Micro influencers tend to have higher engagement rates. When I use micro influencers, I tend to stick with people that have 10k - 50k followers. Influencers in this range are more likely to respond to your emails, negotiate prices, and are even open to accepting free items as a form of payment or included in the payment. If this is something you’re interested in, you’ll want to make sure you’re finding quality influencers for your campaigns.
Again, I’m sorry to hear about your ads, but I’m really excited to share some of the ways I’ve found success with my own business, and ways I’ve helped others too. Something I always try to keep in mind when operating my business is that nothing is promised or guaranteed but I won’t let my losses determine if I’m successful or not. I do understand if you don’t want to continue with your business, but I know you have it in you, otherwise you wouldn’t be an entrepreneur in the first place. I’m excited for your response and hopefully we can get you excited for the next chapter of your business.
