Why did removing old apps decrease my online speed score?

I deleted a few old apps that I’m not using anymore, my speed score dropped. I went back in and started dissecting the code and found beeketingscript code that I pulled from the theme.liquid layout. I went through the other files and found files under assets that were associated with another old app, Limespot, so I pulled those and tried to clean up the assets a bit. My speed score dropped more. I don’t understand, but I’m not really experienced with coding. Any input? Thanks in advance.

When you delete apps in shopify then there may be some app codes which stays still there in your theme. you need to check this and should remove that codes.

I have checked your speed score with lighthouse and page insight.
