Good Morning. Please anytime a customer tries checking out from my store, the message she gets is there is an error processing your payment. Try another payment method.
We try but still dont get any good result. What could be the problem
A store reports consistent “error processing your payment” messages at checkout when using Paystack (a third‑party payment gateway). The merchant is new to Shopify and has not successfully processed payments yet.
Shopify support requested details on the gateway used, prior successful transactions, and screenshots. The merchant confirmed Paystack and provided screenshots of the error.
Support directed the merchant to Shopify’s troubleshooting guide for third‑party gateway integrations, including verifying account credentials/number and correct setup in the Shopify admin. They also advised contacting Paystack support for guidance on the integration and to share any instructions received so Shopify can assist further.
Attachments (screenshots of the checkout error) were provided and are relevant to diagnosing the issue.
Status: Unresolved/ongoing. Next steps are to verify configuration per Shopify’s guide, confirm Paystack account details, contact Paystack support, and report back with any setup requirements or findings.

Could you let me know the payment gateway in question that your customer is having issues with?
Would you have previously been able to process payments with this gateway okay?

Would you have gotten in touch with Paystack support yet to see if they have any advice to share on their gateway integration?
