I have a question about discount codes. I activated two discount codes. One is for free shipping and it works perfectly.
The other one is for 10 per cent and it also works and is accepted; the new amount to pay is automatically calculated. However, as soon as the new amount is calculated, the custumer gets a message that the shipping adress is invalid even though was valid before. When the customer removes the code, the adress becomes valid again and the Button for payment appears again.
Just some additional information. I tried using other names for the code, but the problem stays the same. When I use a discount code for a specific product instead of a percentage discount code on the whole order, the problem also stays. The only code that works is the one for free shipping.
A customer tried using a code created and they are getting “This order can’t be shipped to the address you entered. Review your address to ensure that all fields have been entered correctly and try again.”
In my case, the problen was that my minimum amount for shopping was the cost of one of my products. When custumers used the discount code, the amount went below that and shopping wasn’t possible anymore. When I further lowered the minimum amount for shopping (might as well put it to 0), it worked. You migh try that as well.
