Why does my Debutify theme not reflect updated product prices after currency change?

I’ve recently changed store currency from GBP to USD. I change the individual products price in the shopify store to adjust to the exchange rate and it saves, but then i view my website (Debutify theme) and the prices are not the same as the ones i have adjusted? because only the website is affected and not the store i can only imagine this has something to do with the code. Even when i change the products price and preview on the website it stays the same. E.G. Product price is $2250, website will list $1941. i could change the product to $2000 and the website price shown will still say $1941??? nothing adjusts.

I would really appreciate some help as this is reducing my profit margin

I already have a currency converter which works as it converts $1941 on the website to £1643 etc which is the correct conversion but the price (USD) is not the same on the website as it is on the product page and i cant change it. the price on the product page is irrelevant as i could change it to 1million USD but the website still shows $1941 which is not the price i want on the website. i have removed products and put them back and its still not working.
