Why does my slider image not fit correctly in the minimal theme?

Hello,

I’ve got a question for the minimal theme. I am building my homepage and whatever I do, the image slider doesn’t fit. I’m using Canva to create my images and in Canva I can choose any px size I want.
I have tried several image sizes:
970x340
1280x460
1280x340
Every size does not fit in the slider. Sometimes you don’t see the top. In other case you can’t see the whole image width. It drives me crazy…

Is there something wrong about how I work or how I create and upload my images?

Please help me…

  1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
  2. Asset->/theme.scss.liquid->paste below code at the bottom of the file.
.slides__image {object-fit: contain;}
