I found a problem with the Your Cart page on my store. Every time I try to delete a product that I added to the cart it takes forever to delete. Most of the time it doesn’t delete and I would have to refresh the page to find it still there. When I go delete it again it goes on forever as if it’s frozen but the loading circle is moving. Tried to find answers online but couldn’t find anything. Can somebody help me out? My store is not live yet. I don’t know if that would do anything to the cart not being able to delete items or not. I am also having this problem. My cart has been unable to be edited all day; can’t lower or raise quantity in the cart, can’t delete items. Tech support told me at about 4:40PM EST that it is a known issue and is being worked on, yet the Shopify status page says everything is fine. Would love to know an ETA!
Please share the store URLs so we can provide a diagnosis.
It’s very unlikely that this issue is related to the Shopify servers though, adding/removing to cart would not be impacted if the Shopify servers were under a downtime. It’s very likely that the issue is due to custom code or apps.
It happens when I have multiple items in the cart. I delete one and it either deletes or doesn’t. If it does delete and I go delete another one it just doesn’t delete. I would have to refresh the page to delete it. If that deletes after refreshing, the third item I want to delete doesn’t delete until you refresh. The process just repeats but as a customer I would be super frustrated to even deal with that when it’s such a simple command. I didn’t do anything to the code. The only coding I’ve done is with the meta tag to verify my domain on FB and that’s all. Please let me know if there’s something wrong on your end or if it’s one of the apps that I have installed.
