My website recently started having problems deleting items from cart. Besides adding more items to my store, the only other app that I have installed is Joy Loyalty, for a rewards program. Maybe that could have messed something up, but I just don’t know for sure. I have customers using it, so I would hate to get rid of it, unless I know it is what is causing this problem. Any help is appreciated!
I’m on the Dawn theme and a friend is also and we are having the same issue. Customers also can’t increase or decrease the amount of an item either. She spoke to support hours ago and they said they were aware and working on it, but so far no fix.
This has been happening to me all day also on Dawn. I was told it is a server issue and that engineers were working on it, but it has been almost 8 hours since I was told that, and it has been out much longer. I have not been given an ETA.

I understand you’re currently experiencing issues with Sense Theme as you’re unable to remove items from the cart.
We are currently experiencing issues with the following themes but not limited to: Dawn, Studio and Taste. The themes are loading endlessly when trying to add more than one of a product to the cart or change the amount within the cart. Our developers are aware of this ongoing issue and are actively working to have this resolved.
At this time the current workaround for affected stores is to disable Google Pay or Dynamic Checkouts, and have customers change the product quantity on a product page instead of at the cart page.
We understand how important this is to have this section of your store functional for you and your customers. We appreciate your patience and will provide an update here as soon as the issue has been resolved by our developers.
To everyone having the same issue, I have had to put in a quick workaround and create a ‘clear cart’ button that will resolve the issue until the dev team find a solution.
To implement this workaround, you’ll need access to the theme code but I promise it is super simple.
1: Edit theme
2: Locate and open main-cart-items.liquid
3: If you have not edited the cart code, enter the following on line 43
Empty cart
4: Save the code
You should see a button styled to your theme’s appearance that will empty the whole cart once pressed. A live example can be seen on https://mapelio.com

@Victoria_13 my site has not had Dynamic Checkout or Google Pay enabled prior to this issue, and I just checked to verify they are still not active. So that “workaround” is not working for me as I cannot disable something that is already disabled. Any other options?
The customer can obviously increase the quantity from the product page, but they are unable to decrease it. Since they cannot delete a single item, the only thing I can offer them right now if they want less than they originally planned is to clear their cart and start over, thanks to @VUMODigital 'sEmpty Cart button code which works very nicely and I will be keeping even after this is resolved.
This has been going on for 24 hours now in my store, so very keen to have this resolved.
