Why has my store been blocked after providing credit card information?

I want to know why shopify have blocked my store after i send information about my credit card.

My store is inactive and i cannot have access.

I understand that you are unable to access your store. That is definitely not an ideal situation to be in, so I appreciate the fact that you want to get this resolved so that you can get back to working on your store.

You mentioned credit card information - were you trying to add a payment method to your store right when this happened?

Have you received any emails from us which might give more information on the situation? Our internal teams will usually always communicate by email, so that would be a good place to check first.

This was indeed a mistake on my part. i’m new on shopify world.
I wanted to enter my company’s information.
I thought that by changing the personal bank card to the company card this would happen automatically, which is not the case.

I was blocked.

Just so you know, you can change some basic information in the Settings > Store Information section of your Shopify Admin. However, if you need other information changed besides your store information or payment method, then you can explain that to our team and they can do their best to help you out with that.

But my store is bloqued, so i dont have access to any parameter.

You are very welcome. Yes I understand what you mean, you would only be able to access those settings when your store is available and not locked.
