I have orders sitting in my Seller Central account and they have not been transferred for shipping into my Shopify store: www.playcutter.com
Everything was great up to yesterday and now they stopped…I am using the Shopify sales channel. I did not change anything within Seller Central nor did I touch Shopify.
We are currently having the same exact issue. None of the Amazon orders since 03-05-21 have populated into shopify. I just found a stack of orders in the Amazon Seller Portal that never went through. Is this a known issue? What’s to be done from Shopify.
I’ve never seen it before and it worries my because now these order have to either be manually entered and risk duplication…or wait and piss off the customer.
This is a known issue, the Shopify / Amazon sales channel is unreliable in my experience.
If you’re importing Amazon FBM orders, the way I do that is with an app called Codisto. In our store, we use that app to auto import FBM orders from Amazon, then we use Order Automator in the reverse direction to auto fulfill Shopify orders via Amazon FBA.
I’ve also found that customizing your content / product descriptions separately for Shopify and Amazon yields higher conversion rates - the Amazon shopper is different than your branded store shopper, and you have more control over your store’s content. So for this reason, rather than sync listings, we upload our content to Amazon via spreadsheet.
The Shopify/Amazon interaction did in fact restart and is back to normal. However, I don’t think the issue is gone for good. For now. my account is solid but, many of you will experience the same thing.
The good news is that it only lasted for about 4-5 days
