Why I do not see the cart in mobile version?

Hi, this shop is using the dawn theme, in the mobile version in the theme editor I can see the cart, but when I go to my phone and browse the store, the cart is not there, can you please help me have the cart back again visible on the mobile version? Thank you

It’s possible that the cart icon is hidden on the mobile version of your store. Here are the steps to make sure that the cart icon is visible on mobile:

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin dashboard and click on “Online Store” in the left-hand menu.

  2. From there, click on “Themes” and select the Dawn theme that you want to edit.

  3. In the theme editor, click on the “Header” section.

  4. Click on the “Mobile view” button at the bottom of the theme editor preview.

  5. Once in the mobile view, click on the “Header” section again.

  6. Check that the “Cart icon” is enabled by clicking on the “Cart icon” tab on the right-hand side of the screen.

  7. If it is disabled, click on the toggle switch to enable it.

  8. You can also adjust the position of the cart icon by clicking on the “Position” tab and selecting the desired position.

  9. Once you’re done, click “Save” and then “Publish” to make the changes live on your store.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I followed the steps and in the mobile view, header section, I do not see a cart icon to toggle /un-toggle, also I do not see a position tab, am I missing something?

Please see picture attached cto confirm I am in the right section. As I mentioned, I do see the cart in the mobile view, but when I browse the website from a phone, then the cart is gone.

the cart is in the picture, but the account icon is missing, you can check if it’s enabled from settings > customer accounts

Yes, it does show in the theme preview, but when you browse it from your phone you do not see it. That is the problem

I followed these steps and it fixed my issue:

You just have to add a little snippet of code under the part of the theme.liquid code file.
