For some reason any photo I upload to e.g. the homepage is pixelated for me. Even the free ones from shopify itself. This happens to both my stores. I could use the frree images, hd images from google, images of my own which look hd on my pc. Nope, as soon as I upload them they lose quality and become pixelated and dead.

Not sure what image you’re talking about but is it this one:

^ that image is 1024 high but the block it is in is 2088 (on my screen). The layout stretches the images to full fill the space so the image has been stretched more than double. A blurry output makes sense here.
If it’s not that image on the homepage just reply back with the one you’d prefer to talk about.
