Because it is easier to fix the agreements in the text. Most often, software-related problems are not solved over the phone, because to describe problems you need a lot of details that cannot be described by voice. There may also be questions for you, for the provision of answers to which you will need time. This will turn into a lot of calls. It is much easier to collect the entire history in correspondence in order to resolve the issue.
You pay only for using the product. I assume your site was made by a third-party developer. It is unlikely that Shopify will help you.
Believe me, the problems associated with the software, it is better to solve the text.
It was basic info within the Shopify format. They are useless and shouldn’t be allowed to give tech info if they are not techs. Basic info on shipping. Basic info on canceling an order they guided me to create. They are outsourced. You have to spend much time explaining what is on the screen as opposed to someone seeing things remotely. It’s just plan stupid. And then to hang up when I request someone with a higher skill level is beyond unprofessional. Shopify doesn’t care about its sellers. I would have had greater luck calling the White House the way they hide ways to contact them.
I’m having a problem that I need to speak to someone about also. Did you ever get a call back? If so, how?!?!!??
