Anyone else notice a dramatic decline in customer service lately?

Slight rant… Shame on shopify for raising prices while discontinuing phone support. Getting someone on the phone was so helpful with troubleshooting issues. They were friendly and eager to help solve problems. Now you get someone who’s likely got 4 other chats going, I’m sure they’ve obviously nice people just doing their job, but they’re not set up for success, and most times I just end up having to try to figure stuff out myself, or just never getting a solution. Trying to type out a complicated issue over and over with a new person every time has been frustrating to say the least.

Maybe I just need to use this community section more now, as we’re all likely dealing with the same problems and have actually had to figure them out on our own.

agreed! the chat support is absolutely terrible and a waste of time

Not sure how any real business could use this platform anymore. If you are a mom and pop with no employees and not dependent on the site I guess this works, but if you drive real business and need support for when technical issues come up, do not see how shopify is a solution. Our sister company has an issue, IT could not connect with them, they left shopify 30 days later, just took that long to migrate. Would love to meet their leadership team that appears to now be incompetant.
